A weekly series on Channel [V] this programme was a platform for the youth to come face to face with the political leaders of the country. The difference was that it was produced in keeping with the channel format – irreverent, casual, fun, yet serious enough to reach issues to its target audience. It was a challenge to create the right balance!

The set was designed by Sumant Jayakrishnan along with our team and was a celebration of creativity! A five camera shoot plus one that was completely hand held to add the fun element to the look. The production had our whole team on its toes but one of the toughest part was coordinating with the politicians – if one would turn up on time, the other would be late, or back out at the last moment without warning, leaving a whole team & the ‘sabha’ (a bunch of impatient youngsters) in the lurch.

The show was anchored by Ranvir Shorey who was far from political or politically correct and had to be tutored before every episode!
